1.3 M Filipinos Stand for 10 Hours for Duterte! Hungry for Change!

"What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul..." Mark 8:36 - the verse that burned the ranks of biased media.

You may have gained millions of pesos in the campaign season, but it's about time you look into your hearts and souls. Money is not evil. The love of money is. And sad to say, it has engulfed this entire nation whose politics has become rotten to the core, whose press freedom has been tainted with mud, dirt and blood, and whose people have been on bended knees for too long just because their leaders think money is all that matters.

But in the Miting de Avance Grand Rally, we have witnessed the unfolding of history when Filipinos from all walks of life come together, when the wealthy ones in SUVs offered free rides to the people marching toward Luneta; when Christians are no longer terrorized when somebody shouts "Allahu Akbar!" When even hungry people from the slums forego free meals and free rides with 500 peso bills inserted in sample ballots. When even a Filipino, whose stomach is grumbling chooses to stand for 10 straight hours and bear the intense heat, just to hear the voice of that one person who has captured the hearts of millions. Here, we no longer talk of greed. Here we talk of hunger and thirst for genuine change that no amount of money or profit could ever satisfy. This, alone, is a miracle in itself. Change is not coming. It is happening.
